Domaine des Tuileries, Acacia Meunier 2020

Domaine des Tuileries is a fresh artisan venture launched by winemaker Bryan Marx in the village of Venteuil, in Champagne’s Vallée de la Marne. Drawing from 1.5 ha of selected plots from his family’s holdings, Bryan crafts each cuvée with barrel-fermentation, zero dosage and full focus on terroir. The wines reflect chalk-rich soils, low intervention and an unmistakable sense of place. 100% Pinot Meunier, vinified and matured in acacia barrels, bottled as a Brut Nature. Pale gold with a fine bead. On the nose: baked apple, ripe orchard fruit, fresh biscuit and a subtle chalky minerality. The palate shows gentle red-apple and white-pepper spice, delicate orchard fruit, and a saline-mineral backbone. Crisp acidity meets soft, refined structure; balanced, expressive and beautifully pure in its Meunier-driven identity. A thoughtful Champagne, excellent for food-friendly aperitifs or shellfish.
